a) Equipment Research

List the equipment you have used to make your wind chime and describe how they were used. Find or take a picture of these tools and include them in your descriptions. You may like to present this infomation in a table.

b) Complete the safety tests on:

i) Scroll saw

ii) Drill Press

iii) Hand tools

iv) Finishing materials

v) Disc sander

c) Complete work sheets on types and properties of timber, see “activity” section of this site.

d) Inspiration Collage

Make a collage which reflects your ideas for the brief. The collage should include pictures of possible animal shapes that you could use for your wind chime.

e) Shop Research

Research where you have chosen to sell your wind chime. Write 1/2 a page of information that highlights all the important aspects of your chosen location. Illustrate your information with images from the location.
